James Miles
Director and Mortgage Adviser

James co-founded The Mortgage Quarter following 10 years as a mortgage adviser for a well-known high-street lender.
James splits his time between assisting our clients with their mortgage applications and working on business development.
Outside of work, James enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid Leeds United football fan, travelling all around the country to support them.
Michael Tilston
Director and Mortgage Adviser

Michael co-founded The Mortgage Quarter after almost six years as a mortgage adviser for a well-known high-street lender.
Michael specialises in arranging high-value, buy-to-let and complex mortgages.
When he’s not at work, Michael is a busy dad of young twins, which doesn’t leave time for much else!
Richard Grigg
Mortgage and Protection Adviser

Richard joined The Mortgage Quarter in 2019, having worked for a financial services provider as a mortgage and protection adviser and 10 years in commercial banking before that.
He specialises in shared ownership and new-build mortgages.
Richard enjoys golf and going to the gym in his spare time but maintains he’s not good at either!
James Best

James has worked in the mortgage industry since 2004. He joined The Mortgage Quarter in 2020 as he shared our ethos of putting clients first and wanted to work in a customer-focused environment.
James’ specialism is business protection insurance.
When he’s not working, James enjoys snowboarding in the winter, paddle boarding in the summer and has recently taken up archery.
Mark Davis
Mortgage and Protection Adviser

Mark spent 13 years working as a mortgage and protection adviser for two mortgage brokers in Northern Ireland before moving back to England and joining The Mortgage Quarter in 2021.
Mark specialises in later-life mortgages and protection insurance.
In his spare time, he loves going out to good restaurants and walking his two dogs. Mark’s also a huge rugby fan after playing and coaching for almost 40 years.
Zoe Anderson
Mortgage and Protection Adviser

Zoe joined The Mortgage Quarter from another mortgage broker. Prior to that, she was a personal banker for seven years before completing her CeMAP certifications to become a licenced mortgage adviser.
Zoe specialises in new builds mortgage and protection insurance.
Outside work, Zoe plays on a netball team for a social league in Exeter and is a keen cyclist.
Jon Cole
Mortgage and Protection Adviser

Jon joined The Mortgage Quarter after 13 years of working as a mortgage and protection for a national estate agency group. Before that, he had a 10-year career in the Royal Navy.
Jon assists first-time buyers, home movers, remortgagees and those seeking a buy-to-let mortgage. In addition, he’s won awards for his protection advice
Jon is a proud family man and loves spending his time off with his wife, children and dog, exploring and camping in new destinations across the Southwest. He also enjoys playing squash and is a frequent visitor to Old Trafford Stadium, the home of Manchester United F.C.
Lucy Medley

Lucy began her career in banking before spending six years working as a mortgage and protection adviser. She joined The Mortgage Quarter following a brief spell in the recruitment industry.
Lucy assists first-time buyers, home movers and people remortgaging to secure a mortgage and protection insurance. She was born and raised in Southampton and looks after our clients in that area.
Lucy has two young children, so anytime outside of work is spent keeping them entertained! She also enjoys walking in the New Forest and cooking.
Lee Hammond
Mortgage and Protection Adviser

Lee has joined the Mortgage Quarter after previously working for a National estate agent as a mortgage and protection consultant for over 12 years.
Lee has experience in helping first time buyers, home movers and people looking to remortgage, as well buy-to-let and complex mortgages.
Outside of work Lee loves to cook and also enjoys travelling. Like many in the office Lee is a follower of football and supports Plymouth Argyle, his playing days are long behind him and now he is trying to take up golf, emphasis on the trying!
Charlie Hart

Charlie joined The Mortgage Quarter in 2020 as an apprentice and has progressed through the ranks, earning his CeMAP qualification and stepping into his current role as a Mortgage & Protection Advisor. With a strong foundation and a client-first approach, Charlie is passionate about helping our clients make confident, informed decisions about their financial future.
Outside of work, he’s a devoted Liverpool fan, a regular at music gigs and festivals, and loves escaping to Cornwall in his camper van.
Shane Reavey
Mortgage and Protection Adviser

Shane has joined the Mortgage Quarter after previously working for a National estate agent as a mortgage and protection consultant for over 4 years, having previously worked with a National Bank.
Shane has experience in helping first time buyers, home movers and people looking to remortgage, as well buy-to-let and complex mortgages.
Outside of work Shane is First Team Coach for Buckland Athletic FC, who play in the Western League. He has also recently started playing Padel, but has said playing is a strong term.
Holly Wilkinson

Holly is an apprentice administrator studying her Business and Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship at Exeter College.
Holly works alongside our two case managers, Charlie and Ellie, and is the third wheel in our reception team, providing front-of-house support.
In her free time, Holly enjoys training at the gym and catching up on sleep!
Eva Thorn

Eva is our Apprentice Administrator studying her Business and Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship at Exeter College with her sights set on becoming a Mortgage Adviser in the future.
Working closely with the team, Eva plays a key role in delivering front-of-house support and ensuring a smooth experience for clients.
Outside of work, Eva enjoys reading, staying active at the gym, catching up with friends, and taking long walks with her dogs.
