1. Mark, tell us a bit about yourself?
I have been a mortgage advisor for the last 13 years. Working in Belfast with Mortgage IQ for 8 years and then more recently with Mortgage First Ni.
2. What motivates you to do what you do here?
I actually really enjoy what I do, not everyone can say that! The genuine, “Thank you’s”, that you get from clients makes the job very rewarding.
3. Where is the best place you have travelled to?
I think it would have to be Australia. I spent some time living there before I was forced to move home… Don’t Ask!
4. Are you a morning person or a night owl?
I am definitely a morning person, I’ve always been an early riser.
5. What’s your idea of a perfect day?
Going for a long walk over the cliffs, where I live, in Dorset. Go to watch a live rugby match, I’m a huge rugby fan. Finish the day with a nice meal and a few drinks with my girlfriend. What could be better?
Because we play by the book we want to tell you that...
Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
There may be a fee for mortgage advice. The actual amount you pay will depend upon your circumstances.
The fee is up to 1% but a typical fee is 0.3% of the amount borrowed.
