1. Tell us a bit about your background?

I have worked in the mortgage industry since 2004 working for RBS/NatWest until 2011. After this, I began working at Connells in Exeter and have been the mortgage adviser there for the last 9 years!

2. What are the values that drive you?

In work, the values that drive me the most are ensuring that I provide highly professional advice and help throughout my clients’ mortgage journey, from start to finish.

3. What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

Like most people, I love spending time with my family. Whenever we can, myself, my wife and my daughter take our campervan away for trips away where I will try to get out on my stand up paddleboard (SUP) whenever I can! I have also recently taken up snowboarding, which is great fun.

4. What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?

“It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice”

Quoted from Dwayne ‘the Rock’ Johnson who is a really nice guy!

5. If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would you choose and why?

I would trade places with rock star so I could feel what it’s like to perform on stage in front of the whole crowd. I’d say Bruce Dickinson from the band, Iron Maiden.

Because we play by the book we want to tell you that...

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.

There may be a fee for mortgage advice. The actual amount you pay will depend upon your circumstances.

The fee is up to 1% but a typical fee is 0.3% of the amount borrowed.
