It’s that time of year again, and we’ve launched our annual Christmas charity toy appeal, which this year will support seven local charities. Now we need your help!
Working in partnership with CoLab Exeter, we’re splitting the donations between seven Exeter-based charities supporting children, domestic abuse survivors, families in temporary accommodation and Ukrainian refugees. The beneficiaries include RD&E Charity (Bramble Ward), Promoting Choice, Breathing Space, Conversation Café and More Positive Me.
Last year we collected a whopping 2,500 toys during our Christmas toy appeal, but with more charities on the donation list, we hope to smash that amount this year! The more we receive, the greater the impact on families in need this Christmas. So, if you can offer a gift, we’d really appreciate it.
As we’re supporting more charities this year, we’ve expanded our request list to include the following:
- Toys with CE mark
- Women’s clothes (particularly bathrobes and fluffy socks)
- Children’s clothes (0-12 years)
- Hooded blankets
- Make-up and make-up brushes
- Nail polish
- Hair treatments
- Mindful colouring books and pens
- Hot water bottles
- Hot chocolate mug sets
- Photo frames
All gifts must be unwrapped and be NEW with tags, and toys should have a CE mark.
You can drop your donation at our offices at 23 Richmond Road, Exeter, EX4 4JF, between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, from now until Friday, 16 December.
Thank you for your support.
